Photos from Beeston Primary School - Leeds's postOn Thursday 24th September, the whole school celebrated European Day of Languages. Key Stage 1 enjoyed a French storytime with Mrs Jaques, reading the book 'Bon appetit, Monsieur Lapin'. We also created some calligrams using vocabulary from various European languages and Year 5 played a traditional Polish game called Dwa Ognie. All of the children said how much they had enjoyed the day! 6 Likes
Photos from Beeston Primary School - Leeds's postZarach visited Beeston Primary today! Today we were delighted to welcome Zarach into school to talk to our children about the amazing work they do to support families in our local community. ποΈβ¨ Zarach provides beds, bedding and pyjamas to children and families who need a little extra support, helping to make sure every child has a safe, warm and comfortable place to sleep. Our children loved learning more about the charity and how their support can make such a positive difference to families. πββοΈπββοΈ And weβre excited to announce that all proceeds from our upcoming Golden Mile Sponsored Event will be donated to Zarach! Weβre looking forward to getting everyone involved and raising as much as we can for this fantastic cause. A huge thank you to Zarach for visiting us today and helping our children understand how small acts of kindness can make a big difference. π 10 Likes
